I've written a few posts about my adventures in pottery so don't have much more to add this time, but still wanted to share / save my latest creations, which I collected a couple of weeks ago, here.
Despite no longer being a teacher, and not being a parent, I still live my life in academic cycles. The summer always comes with a shift in routine and I decided not to sign up to start again immediately when my previous course finished in mid-June. I didn't want to be tied down by a weekly commitment, and I still think it was the right call, but I did find I missed my weekly dose of earth and water. It did also prove something I already knew to be true ... I had told myself that I could still set aside an evening a week to do something creative at home: and no prizes for guessing whether that happened as much as I'd intended!
So as the nights are beginning to draw in, and my diary is returning to its term-time look, I have signed up again. To be continued ...
